Vacation

So... We were in Seattle for medical reasons... and those reasons sucked... but we tried to make the best of a not so great situation... And tried to squeeze some vacation in between appointments. So we went a a tour of Washington State. We tried to find some ghost towns but it was hard given the population increase, but we did find some neat sites. We stopped in Rosalynd where Northern Exposure was filmed. And went to Yakima and over to the coast via Mt. Raineer..
Frank once landed on the top of Mt. Raineer when he was in the army... It was pretty neat to see what he had been talking about..

I love waterfalls.. so we stopped and took a couple of pictures... There were some really gorgeous water falls.. Including a really huge one... that I didn't take a picture of because I didn't want to get my camera wet!

Hard to believe Frank was on top of that bad boy! He can remember taking some snow back to the base and having a snow ball fight in the summer.

And of course we had to stop in Yakima to eat... We actually stayed two nights in Yakima and really enjoyed the fresh fruit and produce. The Cooper Tour that has plagued me my whole life followed me to Seattle. We got lost in the hills of Yakima looking for a vineyard.
