It was a year of medical crud.... First we went to Seattle in May for a week of testing... and came back in August full of hope for a miracle... And that Miracle did not come...
After a week of monitoring his seizures with an internal sheet of electrodes it was discovered that the damage to his brain was not localized to one or two areas. They would not be able to safely or successfully remove the areas and have a decrease in seizures.
That being said... there is only really one more surgery option, which will be explored next year. But while Frank's brain was covered in electrodes he had some pretty interesting hallucinations... and between those and the room mate who often pooped himself... we have giggles for years...
