Lighthouse

My quest to find a light house was finally fulfilled... We went to Fort Wordon where they filmed Officer and a Gentleman... And while of course most of the museums were closed (because we were late) and it was packed with people because of some concert it was a really neat base. It was a huge beautiful fort and we did get to tour the commanding officers home... I would love to go back someday. They have vacation rentals in some of the old homes and camping down near the light house... and if you are super special and are in the Navy you can rent the house near the light house.... The ocean was RIGHT there! (of course... duh!) The original light house , house... This is for rent if you are a navy kinda person...
