So... The Cooper Tour begins..

I attempted to rent a car so that we could just leave Los Alamos when ever we wanted but my debit card was declined... Which was crazy..as I KNOW there was money in the account. After a slightly frustrated and frazzled call to the bank I discovered that a security lock had been placed on the account... apparently I forgot to tell them that I was traveling! Well this sucked but it is good to know that the bank has my back like that.

Needless to say I was embarrassed...but the car guy was cool.. unfortunately I would have to wait 24 hours to try again... So I had to go back to the hotel and start on plan B. I drove us all to Los Alamos in Mom's car. On the way to Los Alamos I got a call from my Dad, advising that my sister Erika was in the hospital and headed into surgery... Plans changed again...

So instead of the grand plans of hanging with the family all week.. The kids and I went to see Rango and eat dinner with Dad and Val..

Which was great... The next day I headed back to Albuquerque to get the rental car... Which was successful! Dad came to the house and went to the park with the kids.. Apparently they had fun... (and they actually behaved!)
