Well... Summer, like me, went MIA this year. Aside from a handful of glorious, sunny, warm (you know you have acclimated to Alaska when 70 is considered hot) days it has RAINED all summer.
Frank is enjoying working in Togiak and I have restarted my career as a 911 Dispatcher. I finished my training and am officially on my own... Go me! I love teaching...but this pays better, has better benefits and heck they hired me! I am still working on my Masters degree and hope to pursue a doctoral degree after that and teach college.. Until then - 911 whats your emergency. I love the work and the people.. and I got to take Kyle to his first day of school!
We are living in a small apartment on a awesome lake (we pay for the view not the accommodations) while we get our ducks in a row to build a house next summer.
